The Naperville Salute

The Naperville Salute is our Family-Friendly Independence Day Hometown Celebration, centered around our appreciation for Veterans, Active Military, First Responders, and their Families. The Salute blends community, local entertainment, Family Fun, and a Fireworks Extravaganza. The footprint will encompass Rotary Hill July 2-3 along the Riverwalk and downtown Naperville. Fireworks will be held on July 4 at Frontier Park in south Naperville.

Admission is free for Family Entertainment on July 3 and Fireworks at Frontier Park on July 4. No tickets are required.
General Admission to Rotary Hill $0-$15.  Kids 12 and under are free with paying adults. All ticket sales are final. When purchasing online tickets, don’t forget to print out your tickets or save them to your mobile device.


July 4th Parade in Aurora

The City of Aurora's Annual 4th of July Parade will step off at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in downtown Aurora!
The Parade will begin at the intersection of Benton St. and Broadway St.
March north on Broadway St. (Rt. 25) to Downer Pl.
March west on Downer Pl. to Middle Ave. where the Parade will conclude
The Reviewing Stand will be placed in front of the David L. Pierce Art and History Center, located at 20 East Downer Place, for the best viewing.
Parking
Parking is available in various Downtown public parking lots, not including lots located along the parade route.

2023 4th of July Celebration: Toon-Tastic! in Warrenville

Warrenville’s 4th of July Celebration is a two-day event that is organized by the Warrenville Friends of the 4th and begins on July 3rd. The celebration kicks off with a parade on July 3rd. This fun event showcases Warrenville’s talent with local School and Park District dance troops, bands, and singers. Local scouting troops walk the parade, celebrating the flag and what it represents. Attendees will see new and old-time fire trucks and squad cars as well as floats from local businesses and community groups.

On the 4th of July, the Annual Firecracker 5k Run/Walk kicks off at the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center at 8:00 a.m. The scenic course incorporates the Illinois Prairie Path, Warrenville Grove Forest Preserve, and the streets of downtown Warrenville. Next, Cerny Park is transformed into a large festival to celebrate the nation’s birthdays. Another parade featuring just the children takes place early in the day with the rest of the celebration filled with events and food. Kids can enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, sack races, a hula hoop contest, and much more. Adults have their choice of food and beverage as well as joining in on the contests and watching the live music entertainment. The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks show at the end of the evening.

2023 Theme: Star Spangled Summer
Star Spangled Summer encompasses all that our Independence Day Holiday inspires: the red, white, and blue decorations, the sounds of a parade and fireworks show, the feeling of community, the warmth of summertime, and the spirit of patriotism.

Fun starts at 5:30P | Fireworks at 9P
Fireworks are set to start at dusk (approximately 9P). The evening will feature lawn games, concessions, small carnival rides, DJ entertainment, and giveaways.
Carnival ride tickets & wristbands will be available to purchase on-site.
No pets, alcoholic beverages, sparklers, smoke bombs, or outside food vendors are permitted in the park.

Naperville Fireworks

The City of Naperville hosts its annual fireworks display at Frontier Sports Complex, where visitors can watch fireworks from large fields in the park or from one of the 906 parking spaces available at the sports complex.


Firework Celebration Aurora

Join the City of Aurora as we celebrate Independence Day by living up to our "City of Lights" name with a spectacular fireworks display on the evening of Monday, July 3rd, 2023, in downtown Aurora!
Best viewing is available at RiverEdge Park (gates opening at 7:00 PM) and McCullough Park.

DJ Suave Smooth will be spinning at RiverEdge Park from 7:00 PM - 9:45 PM.
McCullough Park (150 W Illinois Ave, Aurora, IL 60506)
DJ Pena will be spinning at McCullough Park from 7:00 PM - 9:45 PM.
Wilder Park and Promenade (350 N River St, Aurora, IL 60506)
Accessible by foot by both parks, Wilder Park and Promenade will host a food truck court full of food vendors for fireworks spectators! Food trucks will begin selling at 5:00 PM!

July 4th Fireworks Bolingbrook

The 4th of July Fireworks at the Bolingbrook Golf Club is the village's way of celebrating the country's birthday. This grand spectacle can be also viewed from the John F. Kennedy Middle School, Eichelberger Elementary School, and Plainfield East High School.
