Birth - 5th Grade |
Pack up your camping gear and a favorite book because Naperville Public Library’s Summer Reading Program starts June 1! Register online through our Beanstack Summer Reading Program platform then pick up your Summer Reading Program Kit at any of our three Library locations. These kits will include a reading log and the first three prizes your child will win once they reach their reading goals. You can also choose to register in person.
Children should set a daily reading goal, whether that's a chapter a day or to read 15 minutes a day. Every day your child meets their reading goal, they can log their daily reading online and color in an icon on their reading log. After your child has finished each level of reading, you can give them the corresponding level prize provided in their Summer Reading Program Kit (up to level 3).
After completing all levels, visit your nearest Naperville Public Library to pick up the final prize, a book to keep. After completion, participants will also receive an entry into the Summer Reading Program grand prize drawing.
Parents: If you would like to create a Family Account, please register yourself first and then register your children under your account.

6th - 12th Grade |
Starting June 1, teen campers going into grades 6 through 12 can sign up for our Teen Summer Reading Program.
You can register online through our Beanstack Summer Reading Program platform and are welcome to print off a reading log to track your progress. This year, teens are encouraged to read 10 minutes every day. You’ll earn a prize for every four hours you read or listen to books.
Participants can earn up to three prizes, including a free book to keep or fun giveaways that are perfect for summer outdoor adventures!
Once you've completed each level, you can paddle over to your nearest Library location to pick up your prize in-person or via curbside pick-up! Prizes will be available starting June 4.
