1. Take the favorite stuffed animals on a picnic
What do kids love more than picnics? A chance to invite their favorite stuffed friends! It's Teddy Bear Picnic Day (yep, that's a thing!) so make the sandwiches, load up the kids, have them bring a few stuffed animals and head to your favorite picnic spot for a fun afternoon out. Or just throw a blanket down in the backyard. Either way the kids will be thrilled — and the teddy bears will surely enjoy their afternoons out. July 10
2. Eat alllll the macaroni!
It's Mac and Cheese Day, a holiday we at Macaroni KID love, for obvious reasons! Make a special mac and cheese dinner at home, or head out to one of these great Naperville area restaurants for some yummy mac & cheese. July 14

We'll be indulging at Ben & Jerry's on National Ice Cream Day! We love all of our local ice cream shops though! Here are a few of Naperville's favorites. Click here. How many can you get to this summer? July 17
4. Make it all about YOU!
Parents Day is the one day a year it's not about the kids, it's about YOU! If you're a parent or parenting a child, this is the day for you! Put your feet up, close your eyes and let the kids bring you snacks for a change. July 24
5. Ready for wings?
It's national chicken wing day so of course we'll be celebrating with wings from Crosstown Pub and Grill. But there are so many great restaurants to get wings around Naperville. Here are a few just to start! Where's your family's favorite? July 29
