National Night Out is an annual event, started in 1984, to promote neighborhood camaraderie and police-community partnerships.
Since then, millions of people in 16,000 communities have taken part in National Night Out events such as block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events.
This year, National Night Out takes place in Naperville on the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 2.

The City of Naperville has partnered with Loaves & Fishes for this year’s National Night Out donation drive. Donations will be accepted at the kick-off event, and neighborhoods are encouraged to conduct a donation drive for this worthy cause in conjunction with their National Night Out events.
Loaves & Fishes Community Services is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that has served the Naperville since 1984. It provides healthy food and impactful programs to promote self-sufficiency through compassion, dignity, health, hope and service.
Loaves & Fishes believes in making a difference in the life of each person who comes through their doors ending hunger and transforming lives.
