Pumpkins
Pumpkin Patches and Picking- Find the perfect pumpkins from our patches at Abbey Farms. We offer pre-picked pumpkins at the front of the Emporium. The cost typically ranges from $5-$20 depending on the size of the pumpkin. You can also pick your own pumpkins in the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch within the park. Entrance into the park requires a general admission ticket.

Taking in the beautiful fall colors at Cosley Zoo is a must-do! Come see the animals and take in the thousands of pumpkins scattered on the zoo’s lawn. Children’s rides are also available for an additional fee. Apples, gourds, pumpkins, cider, cornstalks, and various sizes of straw bales are available to purchase. Check out the fall merchandise in the Wild Side Gift Shop, too! Proceeds from your purchases benefit Cosley Zoo. Regular admission rates apply. Timed-entry reservations are required.

There is plenty of FREE PARKING and NO CHARGE to visit the pumpkin patch and open market area.
Our pumpkin patch is huge with pumpkins that come in every shape and size. Come explore—if you look hard enough, you’ll find the perfect pumpkin that’s waiting just for you!
No autumn harvest decorations are complete without the perfect pumpkin! Whether you want to carve a unique jack-o-lantern or bake a delicious pie, you’ll find what you need at our pumpkin farm: big pumpkins, small pumpkins, fancy and pie pumpkins—something for everyone! We even have some not-so-perfect pumpkins, for those who like a jack-o-lantern with character!
CHILDREN’S ZOO & RIDES
Our main priority at Johansen Farms is to present fun family activities in a safe and clean environment for our children and yours. When you enter our Children’s Zoo, you will find 4 acres of kids’ attractions surrounded by a cornstalk fence line. Once inside, your children will be unable to wander off too far from Mom and Dad. Each fun-filled activity offered in the zoo is monitored by our friendly staff to ensure your child’s constant safety.
The Johansen family has offered fun activities for kids at our petting zoo for over 33 years and we do not promote anything that will frighten young children. Come and meet the friendly farm animals you can pet and feed! There are all kinds of fall family activities to enjoy—with rides!
Third-generation Chicago area parents are now watching their children experience the same delight and wonderment they did when they were young. For fun things to do with kids in the Chicagoland area, we can’t be beaten! Come and enjoy a family outing at the farm!

Fall Festivities at Oswego:
A Festive Fall at Our Oswego Family Farm
The fall season is our best and busiest time of year. Whether we’re harvesting our crops or holding our many fall activities, the farm becomes the season’s celebration of sights, smells, flavors, and especially family fun. It also turns into Oswego’s autumn farmers market!
Apple-Picking
Bring family and friends to stroll down our apple orchard’s lush, leafy lanes with a Keller’s bag for picking our many crisp and juicy apples. The new varieties we’ve planted have tripled the size of the orchard!
Pumpkin-Picking
Pick your own pumpkins in our sprawling Oswego pumpkin patch. You can choose from different colors, shapes, and sizes – perfect for carving jack ‘o lanterns. Plus you get to take each pumpkin home with part of the vine still attached for that fresh-from-the-field look. Just grab a wheelbarrow and head to the patch!
Keller's Saturday & Sunday Fall Festivities

We are pleased you can join us for our 2023 Saturday and Sunday Fall Festivities at Keller’s Farmstand in Oswego, Illinois! Bring your family and friends for some farm fun. Making memories together is what it's all about!
Your ticket grants you timed access to our Fall Festivities (Farmland) experience, including our 8-acre corn maze (with family-friendly photo ops), 3-acre children's play area, farm animals,* rope and brick mazes, straw maze, little kids bike track, horseplay area, adult bike track, playhouse, tire stack for climbing, and old tractors for photo opportunities. Additional special events for kids are planned on weekends.
*Please note: Keller's Farmstand does not have a "petting zoo." Animals may come to you, but you are not always able to go to them. Not all animals may be available every day. Fewer animals will make an appearance on the opening weekend.
All people ages 5 and up entering Farmland must purchase a ticket.
Children 4 & under are free & do not need a ticket.
Cost of admission: $11.99 per ticket (plus fees)
Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult with a paid wristband/ticket. There is a $2 discount given for senior citizens and the military but is only given for walk-up tickets in person at the ticket booth (must present ID).
The ticket does not include apple picking or pumpkin picking. More helpful hints to plan your visit can be found on our website as well, at KellersFarmstand.com.
If you cannot make your reservation time, you may reschedule your ticket IN ADVANCE by following the instructions on your confirmation e-mail. No refunds will be given for unused tickets, and tickets may not be rescheduled after the reservation time has passed.
