Lace up the skates hit the ice, and see for yourself why ice skating at Seven Bridges Ice Arena is one of the area's favorite activities for people of all ages!  Whether with friends, with family, on a date, or just out for some exercise, ice skating is a great activity for all occasions. Budget-friendly and always fun, ice skating is great for all ages and experience levels, and a perfect addition to a healthy lifestyle. Because ice is slippery and injuries can happen, Seven Bridges Ice Arena recommends all skaters wear head protection, such as a hockey or bicycle. For public ice skating times and sessions, check the Seven Bridges calendar below!  Also, keep an eye out for Family Night and other special-themed Public Skating sessions.

πŸ›·Naperville Park District  Ice Rinks

Red and Green Flags Indicate the Ice Rink's Status
The Park District posts red flags or green flags at its ice skating rinks to indicate whether they are closed or open, providing a user-friendly and visible signal to people at park locations. The District also updates the status of ice rinks at www.napervilleparks.org/cancellations, allowing residents the ability to check on the status of rinks before leaving their homes. Skaters should not use ice rinks when they are posted as closed on the website or when a red flag is flying at the rink.

The season is Dec. 15-Feb. 15 (weather permitting)
Skating areas typically open on or after December 15; however, they can open only after a period of extreme cold. Weather and conditions permitting, the skating season continues through February 15.

To Check the Status of Skating Areas Call the Rainout Line number at 630-883-4242 www.napervilleparks.org/cancellations or go to our website and click on the Weather Cancellations tab
