Description

Pumpkin Palooza is full of fun festivities for the whole family. Come in costume and celebrate the season in the Museum’s parking lot. This event engages visitors in creative, not-so-scary experiences that explore S.T.E.A.M. concepts through play:

•Weave through corn stalks, crunch over leaves, and watch out for spiderwebs in a seasonal obstacle course. Try it on foot or using your own mini-transportation from home!

•Step right up and have a ball with a cornucopia of carnival games.

•Put pumpkins and pinecones to the test in fun physics experiments. Watch them fly and fall and build your own pinecone catapult.

•Paint monster-sized murals together with Artist Jason Watts!

•Mix and mash your own gooey slime from pumpkin guts.

•Say “EEK!” as educators from DCM share spectacular science experiments.

•Groove out with a family-friendly DJ from Bach to Rock Naperville.

This experience lasts approximately 60 minutes.

BOOtiful Family Photo Op
