Fall Color 5K Run and Walk
The season kicked off with the annual Fall Color 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, October 7. Participants followed a scenic, rolling course through the Arboretumās East Side.
Glass Pumpkin Patch
Guests and members enjoyed marvelous, one-of-a-kind glass creations at the 13th annual Glass Pumpkin Patch, Thursday, October 12 through Sunday, October 15.
Walking Plays
Walk alongside an acting troupe and follow the action of classic literary tales, such as Anne of Green Gables, performed live throughout 1,700 acres of colorful trees and beautiful landscapes in the Arboretumās Walking Plays series. Performances take place each weekend in October.
Scarecrow Trail roll the path along Meadow Lake throughout October to see the friendly faces of the Scarecrow Trail, enjoy scarecrows handmade by local scout troops and schools, and cast your vote for the winning designs.
Acorn Express Tram
Hop on a guided tram tour and enjoy a one-hour guided tour that winds you through the Arboretumās woodlands, wetlands, prairie, and changing colors.
